Stop being the script
Everyone’s searching for an “AI SDLC”, but there’s no magic product or process you can buy off the shelf and call it a day. Instead, the SDLC is now a loop with humans at the two ends. The same things still happen, but they happen differently, and you have to figure it out yourself because your organization is different. You have your own constraints and needs which need to be reflected in that SDLC, and the good news is that it’s easy to reason about.
This is a new video on handing that loop to a script, building on an earlier post with an example. It covers the shift from prompting to looping, what a loop actually is, and what it does to your SDLC. Then the 3 things it buys you: collaboration between roles where it matters, better quality from a clean start on every ticket, and more done by running a loop per feature, with the infrastructure each loop needs to stay out of the others’ way. It ends with how a person checks the finished feature in a preview environment before it merges.
