Get grilled before you write the spec

In February I wrote that a spec gives an agent guardrails so it doesn’t hallucinate. About 300 specs later I still think it has its place, but what has changed is if, when and how it gets written. Instead of an open-ended conversation guiding the spec and ultimately the tickets, I’m leaning towards using grill-me skills instead. This is a video on what changed and why this makes more sense and results in less bloat.
